Specialty channel MuchMusic has signed five sponsors for the upcoming 2009 MuchMusic Video Awards, which will take place on June 21. Pepsi will be the presenting sponsor of the program's Backstage Live online service at Muchmusic.com. Nokia will be the title sponsor of the Nokia SoundCheck, an online contest to find a music fan to host MuchMusic the day before the awards broadcast. Other sponsors include Virgin Mobile, Subway and Molson. Each sponsorship includes television, online and mobile components.
