Kids Help Phone begins Find Your Voice campaign

Kids Help Phone has begun a digital campaign called "Find Your Voice." Developed by Manifest Communications of Toronto, the initiative encourages teenaged Canadians to describe their stresses, issues and problems using pop song lyrics or lines from movies and television shows. During the four-week campaign, the organization will issue weekly questions to which respondents will be asked to lip sync. Topics will include dating, bullying, school and emotional health. Participants can post their videos online at <http://kidshelpphone.ca/findyourvoice>. The campaign will also include support from Bell Media and MuchMusic. The initiative includes weekly prozes, with a grand prize of two tickets to the MuchMusic Video Awards.

"We wanted to have a campaign that was not only insightful but also tapped into teen trends," said Deepak Mehmi, creative director at Manifest Communications. "By using pop cultural moments in a digital format that complements the way most teens communicate, we've created a unique outlet to confront and discuss meaningful issues in super creative way."
