Canadian charities launch Help the Helpers campaign
A group of Canadian charities and non-profit organizations has begun a campaign called “Help the Helpers,” intended to raise support for the charitable sector affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The group, called the Emergency Coalition of Canadian Charities, comprises approximately 170 organizations, including War Child, the Canadian Cancer Society, UNICEF, Global Vision, Kids Help Phone and the United Way. The group is seeking funding from the Government of Canada to assist their employees and the populations served by them. The campaign was developed pro bono by Pomp & Circumstance of Toronto. It consists of media relations and social media activities.
