U.S. COMPUTER MAG GETS CANADIANIZED

The Publishing House of Toronto will begin publishing a Canadian version of Computer Reseller News in September. The U.S. version is published by CMP Media of Jericho, New York. The Canadian magazine is called Computer Reseller News Canada and will cover similar topics as in three CMP publications: Computer Reseller News, VARBusiness and Computer Retail Week. The magazine will be published 26 times a year and will have a controlled circulation of 15,000. It will be distributed to resellers, systems integrators, mass merchandisers and distributors. The Publishing House is a division of The Cohen Group of Toronto. Its client list includes: The Globe and Mail, Novell Canada, Compaq Canada, Hewlett-Packard, Dell Computer Corp., NEC, Information Technology Association of Canada, Digital Equipment Corp. of Canada, Microsoft Canada and Apple Canada.
