Huumans begins national campaign
By Derek Winkler
Huumans, an online service aimed at small business owners, has begun a campaign called “My Canada. My Story.” The national campaign, conducted in collaboration with Merchant Growth Capital, encourages small business owners to tell their personal stories. Participants can submit 60-second entry videos until July 1 at <http://www.huumans.com/my-canada-my-story>. This will be followed by a 15-day voting period. The three entrants who receive the most votes will win prizes including $10,000, a trip to Banff, a consultation with a Huumans advisor and a professional promotional video on the service.
“On this Canada Day, Huumans is celebrating the human beings that are the small businesses of Canada,” said Bill Murphy, chief executive officer of Huumans. “They are not things. They are people. Each owner unique, each story, each human lived experience, a chance to share as only humans can.”
