MDC Partners of New York has acquired a majority interest in 72andSunny, a branding agency with offices in Los Angeles and Amsterdam. The firm's client roster includes Hewlett-Packard, CKE Restaurants, Research In Motion, Nike, Discovery Channel, K-Swiss, Take-Two Interactive, PacSun, Air New Zealand and Bugaboo. Its services include advertising production, interactive development, social media activities and public relations.
