MARSHALL FENN PR HAS BUSY SUMMER
By Adnews Staff
The public relations side of Marshall Fenn Limited of Toronto picked up a pile of work during July and August. It won the Famous Players Theatres PR account late last month in a competition with one other agency. Marshall Fenn has been publicizing the company's expansion plans and doing a corporate image campaign. This week the agency is launching Famous Players' 75th anniversary celebration. Also on the Marshall Fenn agenda are PR events next month for The Canadian Gas Association, a client that came aboard in July. The organization is made up of gas utilities across Canada. Fenn handled PR for National Payroll Week. The event, which took place last week, is sponsored by The Canadian Payroll Association, an organization whose 4,000 members deal with payroll service software and hardware, as well as company payrolls. Fenn is also handling PR for the Cable Production Fund into which cable companies put cash for Canadian TV production. Fenn also handled a promotion that was launched at the Vancouver and Toronto Molson Indy races, sponsored by Molson Breweries, Hewlett-Packard and the Insurance Bureau of Canada. In addition, Fenn won the accounts of Enghouse Systems and The Equity Retirement Savings Systems, as well as an assignment for the CN Tower in Toronto.
