New CEO at Edelman Canada

Freda Colbourne has been appointed chief executive officer of Toronto-based Edelman Canada. Colbourne has held a variety of senior positions at the public relations agency over the past 10 years. Her clients have included Cara Foods, the Ontario Ministry of Health, Tourism Toronto, Pfizer Canada, Mars Canada and the Certified General Accountants of Canada, among others. Prior to joining Edelman, Colbourne was in communications at Molson Breweries. John McHugh will take over her old position of executive vice-president and national practice leader for corporate, financial and public affairs.
