Alcon Canada Vision Care hires Edelman

Alcon Canada Vision Care has retained Edelman Canada of Toronto as its public relations agency of record. The assignment includes media and influencer relations for the company’s eye drop, contact lens and lens solutions brands, as well as customer relationship management and corporate communications. Internationally Edelman, is already the communications agency of Alcon in the United States, Latin America and Europe.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in dramatic shifts in our customer and patient needs in the vision care sector,” said Vanessa Johari Hansen, marketing director of vision care at Alcon. “We selected Edelman as our partner because we believe they are the right team to help us champion our mission to help Canadians see brilliantly.”
