MELS promotes three

Montreal-based MELS Studios and Postproduction, a subsidiary of TVA Group, has appointed Julie Brabant to the position of senior director of operations. She was most recently director of technical operations at TVA. She has also worked at Radio-Canada, Global and Télévision Quatre-Saisons.
Richard Cormier has been promoted to vice-president of digital creative services. He will also continue to be executive producer of virtual production. Prior to joining the company in 2020, Cormier worked at Moment Factory and Buzz Image.
Fréderic Boucher has been promoted to vice-president of equipment rental operations. He was previously director of the camera rental department.
