Mels Studios adds two

Mels Studios and Postproduction, a division of TVA Group, has appointed Richard Cormier to the position of executive producer of virtual production and David Hurtubise to the position of technical director of virtual production.
Cormier was previously head of content development at Moment Factory. He was also president of Ringside Creative and Buzz Image Group, as well as a senior vice-president at Nice Shoes and Ascent Media. He has also worked at Riot, Jazz Media Network, Studio NYC and as a consultant.
Hurtubise was most recently a business solutions architect at Epic Games Montreal. Prior to that, he was a technical director at Neweb Labs and at ON Animation Studio. He was also president of UC VFX. Hurtubise has also worked at HB Pictures, Drive and Cine-Parc Orford HD.
