Drug Free Kids conducts cannabis campaign
By Adnews Staff
Charitable organization Drug Free Kids Canada has begun a new campaign that encourages parents to talk with their teenaged children about the use of cannabis. Developed by FCB of Montreal, the national campaign consists of television commercials, billboards, radio ads and digital media. The creative directs consumers to a website at <http://www.drugfreekidscanada.org> to access a collection of information on the subject.
“With everything we have been going through over the past year, we wanted to come at this campaign from a positive angle,” said Sylvain Dufresne, vice-president and creative head of FCB Montreal. “Our goal was to remind parents that the Drug Free Kids Canada website is the best place to find ways to start that awkward conversation with their teens about cannabis.”
