Toronto-based Youth Culture Group has constructed a new social networking website aimed at young women at Vervegirl.com. Members of the site will be able to create pages outlining their interests. Users will also be able to access content and contests from Vervegirl magazine. The company plans to add instant messaging and a French-language version in the future. "The youth demographic is highly mobile and very active, which is leading marketers to utilize multiple channels in their advertising and promotion strategies that target this group," said Kaaren Whitney-Vernon, president of Youth Culture Group. "With Vervegirl.com we can now offer our clients integrated campaign options that utilize our print and interactive web to reach out to this demo, as well as market intelligence that they can take back to build out future campaigns."
