Insurance Bureau of Canada begins road safety campaign

The Insurance Bureau of Canada has signed-on as the lead sponsor of the Canadian Women's Hockey League. As part of the sponsorship, the bureau will conduct ad campaigns on the topics of road safety and avoiding auto insurance fraud. These will begin with a 30-second television commercial on the subject of texting while driving. It will break on Sportsnet during the broadcast of the league's All-Star Game on Dec. 13.
"We're proud to support the amazing athletes in the CWHL and pleased to have this unique opportunity to share our road safety messages with new audiences in communities across the country," said Ralph Palumbo, Ontario vice-president of the Insurance Bureau of Canada.
