CTV signs Amazing Race sponsors

CTV has signed four top-level sponsorship agreements for the upcoming second season of reality television show The Amazing Race Canada. The four sponsors are Air Canada, Chevrolet, Dairy Queen Canada and Scotiabank. The sponsorships will include in-show product integration, digital exposure on CTV.ca/theamazingracecanada and other brand extension activities. No other details are currently available. The Air Canada agreement was negotiated by Mindshare, the Dairy Queen agreement was negotiated by MediaCom Beyond Advertising, while Scotiabank was represented by PHD.
"It takes a well-oiled team to win the race and we're certain we have the winning combination with our four premier partners," said Laird White, director of brand partnerships at Bell Media. "We look forward to sharing this adventure of a lifetime with these iconic brands."
The second season of The Amazing Race Canada will begin on July 15.
