Fast food chain Dairy Queen Canada will conduct a fundraising initiative called “Miracle Treat Day” on Aug. 8 in support of the Children's Miracle Network. On that day, the company will donate the proceeds from sales of its Blizzard menu item to 12 participating hospitals nationally. The effort includes a website at <http://www.miracletreatday.ca>, as well as social media activities.
“At Dairy Queen Canada we see our role as serving communities, whether that's providing families a place to make memories and enjoy a treat in the summer, or through our partnership with Children's Miracle Network,” said Candida Ness, senior director of marketing at Dairy Queen Canada. “We are so proud of our ability to support Miracle Treat Day and we're grateful for the tireless work that our franchisees do year-round to make this happen.”
