Dairy Queen begins Dance Challenge promotion

Fast food chain Dairy Queen has begun a fundraising promotion called the “DQ Dance Challenge” in support of local children’s hospitals. During the effort, the company will encourage consumers to post to Instagram or Facebook videos of themselves performing a dance called the Dip & Curl. The company will donate one dollar for each post to a local children’s hospital through the Children’s Miracle Network. Consumers can also make a donation online at <http://www.dqdancechallenge.com/canada>. The promotion will run until Oct. 11.

“At Dairy Queen, we are passionate about supporting the children in the communities we serve daily,” said Candida Ness, senior director of marketing at Dairy Queen Canada “Dairy Queen’s Dance Challenge is a fun way to connect with one another in these difficult times and raise money for an important cause.”
