The Brick conducts fundraising campaign

Furniture retail chain The Brick has begun a national fundraising promotion in support of the Children's Miracle Network in Canada. The company has introduced a stuffed animal character call Brickley Bear, which will be sold in the chain's 220 stores nationally. The proceeds will go to the charitable organization and to local children's hospitals. The company is also accepting donations to Children's Miracle Network through the sale of Brickley Bear cut-outs. The company will match each dollar donated until to Feb. 28, 2015, up to $100,000.

"The Brick is proud to be part of communities across Canada and has a strong tradition of giving to these communities," said Jim Caldwell, president of The Brick Group. "We care about our neighbours, especially the youngest generation. That's why we're partnering with Children's Miracle Network. The focus of our campaign is 'Helping to Improve the Lives of Children, Brick by Brick' The reason we chose that name for our campaign is that we believe that every little bit counts towards making a real difference to the lives of children and their families."
