CTV launches Juno Tribute Nation promotion

CTV has begun a promotion for the 2014 Juno Awards in association with the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and Insight Productions. The initiative, developed by interactive agency Secret Location of Toronto, takes the form of a website called "Juno Tribute Nation," located at <http://www.junotribute.ca>. Visitors to the site are encouraged to submit their own recordings of the song "Takin' Care of Business" by Bachman-Turner Overdrive, who will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame this year. A compilation of these submissions will air during the broadcast of the awards on March 30. The site also offers videos of various artists and CTV personalities performing the song, as well as additional content.

"We are thrilled to launch the brand-new, interactive initiative Juno Tribute Nation in advance of the 2014 Juno Awards," said Phil King, president of CTV sports and entertainment programming. "From the comfort of their own living rooms, Canadians from across the country will have the chance to take part in this year's broadcast."
