New communications director at CMRRA

The Canadian Musical Reproduction Rights Agency of Toronto has appointed Elyssa Macri to the position of director of communications and industry relations. She will begin work on Oct. 17 and will oversee the organization’s communications and industry relations staff. Macri will head strategic communications, marketing, events and sponsorship activities. Macri was previously director of marketing and communications at the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and the Juno Awards.
