Royal Roads University begins new campaign

Royal Roads University has begun a new campaign that encourages professionals to make climate action a part of their careers. Developed by Will of Vancouver, the campaign focuses on the ways in which the school integrates climate action education into its full curriculum. Video creative depicts a professional being transported from an office to a forest, representing a connection between the actions people take at work and the impact they can have on the environment. The videos are supported by print, digital, social media and out-of-home advertising. Future executions will focus on specific Royal Roads programs. The national campaign will run until the end of March 2023.

“Going out and telling people to change the world all on their own isn’t realistic,” said Susan Gee, vice-president of communications and advancement at Royal Roads University. “Instead we’re focusing on how we can help professionals develop the skills, confidence and network to make climate action a meaningful part of their current career path. It’s not about changing the world, it’s about empowering people to change their small part of it and embracing our power as a collective.”
