Aeroplan breaks new campaign

Loyalty program Aeroplan has begun a new advertising campaign using the tagline, "Aeroplan. And you're there." The initiative, developed by Cossette, focuses on the program's ability to get participants where they want to go. The creative highlights the speed of accumulation and redemption of loyalty points. It also includes a message about the availability of TD credit cards. According to the company, the effort makes use of a new tone that is intended to be more direct and aggressive, following on from last year's "Facts are facts" campaign. The campaign began yesterday with print advertising in daily newspapers in major markets. It will expand over a period of weeks to include digital, outdoor and airport advertising, as well as Air Canada materials. Aeroplan is operated by Aimia of Montreal.
