Aeroplan begins Distinction campaign

Aeroplan has begun a national communication campaign promoting its new Distinction loyalty program for frequent travelers. The campaign, developed by Cossette of Montreal, consists of print, online and out-of-home advertising. Billboards and taxi advertising are being used in Toronto, while airport advertising is running in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. The assignment also included work on the development of the program itself, including branding, design, relationship marketing and media planning. Public relations for the campaign are being conducted by Citizen Optimum. "For this major transformation, Cossette has integrated all points of contact in order to reach our members as efficiently as possible," said David Klein, vice-president of marketing and innovation at Aeroplan. "This campaign is both strategic, creative and completely in line with Aeroplan's vision, which is to respond to the needs of our members."
