Newcap buys Saint John radio station

Newcap, a subsidiary of Dartmouth-based Newfoundland Capital Corporation, has signed an agreement to acquire radio station CHNI-FM in Saint John, NB from Rogers Broadcasting. The deal remains subject to CRTC approval. "This licence is a great fit for our company as it expands our presence in New Brunswick and represents our entry into the Saint John market," said president and CEO Rob Steele. "We are eager to serve and become part of the community."
