New chairman at Sirius XM

John Bitove will depart the position of chairman of the board of satellite radio company Sirius XM Canada Holdings in January 2015. He will remain a member of the board. Anthony Viner, also a member of the board, has been nominated to take over as chairman. He is also chair of the audit committee. Viner is a former president of Rogers Media. He was also CEO of Rogers Broadcasting, and senior vice-president of broadcasting at RCI.
The company has also appointed Christine Magee chair of the audit committee and chair of the corporate governance committee. Guy Johnson has been re-appointed chair of the compensation committee.
