American Express promotes Platinum Card

American Express Canada has begun a marketing campaign in support of its new Platinum Card. The campaign is aimed at consumers with an interest in food, travel and entertainment. It includes television and digital advertising, along with social media activities and an influencer component.

The campaign also features a dining-themed component called “Dinner with a View” conducted in association with John Doe Group. Participants will attend a dinner event in Toronto hosted by model Coco Rocha inside a temporary installation consisting of domes.

The initiative was developed by Ogilvy Canada with media work by UM Canada. Notch Video is conducting the social media campaign, while North Strategic is handling public relations and influencer relations. BT/A is conducting the event component.
