Birra Moretti readies Nonna Supper Club

Beer brand Birra Moretti is preparing a promotion called the “Nonna Supper Club.” The effort will consist of dining events in Toronto and Montreal intended to recreate the experience of a family Sunday dinner. The events will feature Italian recipes and personal stories about life in Italy. Events will take place at Nodo Liberty Village Restaurant in Toronto on Oct. 20 and at Stellina Restaurant in Montreal on Oct. 27. The initiative was developed in collaboration with Publicis Toronto, Publicis Sport & Entertainment, North Strategic and Publicis Connect.
“Knowing that our goal was to encourage Canadians to preserve the tradition of Sunday dinner, we needed to remind people of what that truly feels like, and who better to remind them than the people who know it best,” said Vini Dalvi, chief creative officer at Publicis Canada. “The ‘Nonna Supper Club’ brings light to a dimming tradition by blending our nonnas’ time-honoured values with an approachable and trendy supper club atmosphere. This campaign invites Canadians to pull up a chair every Sunday for an evening of community, connection and, of course, a glass of Birra Moretti.”
