Heinz, Heineken begin six-pack promotion

Food company Kraft Heinz and beer company Heineken have begun an international joint promotion. For a limited time, the two brands will offer a six-pack containing five bottles of Heineken beer and one bottle of Heinz ketchup in a specially co-branded package. In Canada, the offer will be promoted with social media and digital out-of-home advertising, as well as influencer activities. The campaign adaptation is being handled by Publicis Toronto, with influencer relations from North Strategic and media support by Publicis Connect and Billups.

“For 150 years, Heinz and Heineken have been part of the moments that bring people together,” said Karen Owen, chief growth officer at Heinz Europe and Pacific. “This summer, we’re making it official. From the irrational love that inspires our fans to go ‘all in’ to our shared commitment to quality, this partnership may be our most rational one yet.”
