Pfizer resumes migraine awareness campaign
By Rob Bale
Pfizer Canada has resumed its annual “Out of Office for Migraine Awareness” campaign for a third year. The initiative, conducted in association with Migraine Canada and Migraine Québec, is intended to raise awareness of the impact of migraines in the workplace. During Migraine Awareness Month in June, the campaign encourages Canadians to turn on their out-of-office alert for four hours, representing the minimum length of a migraine. The suggested message can provide migraine information, statistics and links to resources.
“At Pfizer Canada, our commitment extends beyond medicine to fostering communities of support for patients,” said Frédéric Lavoie, specialty care and internal medicine business lead at Pfizer Canada. “This campaign offers a vital opportunity to shed light on the profound, often unseen consequences of migraine, and we are proud to continue helping Canadians foster conversations that could lead to meaningful change.”
