Amnesty International hires Barrett and Welsh
By Rob Bale
Amnesty International Canada has retained Barrett and Welsh of Toronto as its brand engagement and fundraising agency. The firm will develop a new branding and public engagement campaign for the human rights advocacy organization. According to the company, Barrett and Welsh won the account based on its previous work for non-profit organizations.
“We are focused on moving beyond transactional fundraising to build deeper emotional connections in a saturated market,” said Nitin Bagga, chief operating and strategy officer at Barrett and Welsh. “By identifying and engaging values-driven audiences who may not currently see how human rights issues connect to their own lives, we aim to convert interest into real-world action and sustainable growth.”
