Roku launches Soccer Zone

Streaming media company Roku has launched a content initiative called “Soccer Zone” in Canada to coincide with the 2026 FIFA World Cup soccer tournament. The effort allows users of Roku streaming devices to access live soccer broadcasts and related content from a centralized location. It includes games available through subscription services TSN, RDS and Crave, along with scoreboards for all games and a tournament leaderboard.

“With Canada hosting matches in Toronto and Vancouver, and fans across the country rallying behind teams from around the world, the tournament is set to be one of the biggest cultural moments of the year,” said Mitch Ward, head of partner growth for Canada at Roku. “Roku’s new Soccer Zone cuts through the clutter by showing fans where to watch, when to watch and how to jump straight into the action, all in one simple destination. It’s built to make following the tournament feel effortless, whether you’re catching a late-night match or tuning in with friends.”
