BMO runs movie-themed billboard

BMO recently conducted an out-of-home campaign in Toronto featuring creative based on the film Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie. From May 27 to June 3, digital billboards in Sankofa Square displayed creative in which the bank’s spokesperson Lamorne Morris was temporarily replaced with actor and musician Jay McCarrol. This is a reference to a scene in the film in which McCarrol appears on the same billboard as a BMO spokesperson. The campaign, developed by TBWA, also includes street posters in Toronto locations that appeared in the film, as well as influencer relations and social media content. Media work is being handled by UM.
