American Express begins TikTok campaign

American Express Canada has begun a new digital brand campaign on social media site TikTok. The creative depicts a couple’s honeymoon in Lisbon, Portugal using video taken with mobile devices. Users can periodocally choose how the story should continue, eventually arriving at a campaign page. The campaign promotes the travel and dining benefits of the credit card.
“TikTok is at the forefront of platforms taking innovation and brand storytelling to the next level, and collaborating with them is a strategic way to engage our target audience with an immersive showcase of our brand’s benefits,” said Lauren Dineen-Duarte, vice-president of communications at American Express Canada. “The opportunity to invest in storytelling that drives such strong brand consideration results makes them an ideal partner.”
