Aeroplan breaks national brand campaign

Loyalty program Aeroplan has begun a new national brand advertising campaign. The campaign, developed by Cossette, depicts the plan as a "trusted companion to its members" that allows them to share special moments with their loved ones. The initiative includes a 30-second television commercial, accompanied by digital, out-of-home and print advertising, as well as content marketing. The creative depicts various Aeroplan customers experiencing meaningful moments with family and friends. It uses the tagline, "We're behind your plan."
"Our new brand platform is all about reaching out to members as individuals by providing them with information, personalized offers and advice that is relevant to them," said John Boynton, chief marketing officer at Aeroplan. "Every member has an idea of how they want to use their Aeroplan miles. The campaign acknowledges this and shows how Aeroplan is there to help its members with their plans."
Aeroplan is operated by Aimia of Montreal.
