Coca-Cola brings Open Happiness campaign to Canada

Coca-Cola Canada has released a song called "Open Happiness" as part of the company's international marketing campaign of the same name. The song features performances by Canadian musicians Kardinal Offishall, Jay Malinowski and Coeur de pirate. "We have adapted the Open Happiness song using Canadian artists and will be integrating the song through all of our marketing efforts this year and during the Olympic Winter Games," said Bobby Brittain, vice-president of the sparkling business unit at Coca-Cola Canada. "In Canada, we've pulled together amazing artists from an array of genres. We believe through the use of music, we are able to invite people to share and enjoy life's simple pleasures." This will be the first time the Open Happiness campaign has run in Canada. It will include television commercials, online activities and live events. The song was produced by Vapor Music. Creative will be developed by MacLaren McCann and Cossette, with online work by Henderson Bas.
