Field Trip & Co. launches in Toronto

A new creative agency called Field Trip & Co. has launched in Toronto. It will specialize in branding and digital design. The firm was founded by Alison Garnett and Carolina Soderholm. Garnett was most recently creative director at SapientNitro, Critical Mass and Supercapacity. She was also a creative brand lead at Taxi, an associate creative director at Henderson Bas and an art director at Credo Design. Soderholm most recently operated her own firm called Designholmen. Prior to that, she was a senior designer at Bruce Mau Design and an art director at Kaldor.

"We've worked with a multitude of clients through our collective careers and we know there is an edge for a small and nimble agency that focuses on creative quality over profit margin," said Garnett. "Two cornerstones of our agency ethos are diversity and collaboration. We believe that diverse teams lead to diverse ideas, and our emphasis on collaboration ensures a 'no jargon, no ego' approach to working with our clients."

The agency's clients include the Institute of Communication Agencies, Waterfront Toronto, the Children's Aid Foundation, Public Work, the Fogo Island Inn and The Bentway.
