MOBIUS WINNERS

Canadian agencies are big winners at the 1995 Mobius Awards. The international awards recognize excellence in the production of broadcast and print advertising, as well as package designs. Leo Burnett led the way in Canadian first place winners, taking two top honors in the TV commercial category, one in the print category, and two in outdoor. Sun Communications of Montreal walked away with three first prize awards in the direct mail category. Promanad Communications of Mississauga, Ont. took a first place in the TV and radio categories, while Wasserman & Partners of Vancouver won two awards, one in print and one in radio. Anderson Advertising of Toronto walked away with two first place awards in the print category. Vickers & Benson Advertising of Toronto won a top prizes in TV and outdoor. Grey Canada, Lowe/SMS and Young & Rubicam, all of Toronto, were first place winners in the print category. Bates Canada, Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising and D'Arcy, Masius, Benton & Bowles, all of Toronto, won top awards in the outdoor category. The Henderson Robb Group of Toronto was a winner in the direct mail category. The awards will be presented in Chicago on Feb. 7.
