Mukerji departs CEO role at Monsoon

Monsoon Communications of Toronto has appointed Sachi Mukerji to the positions of chairman and chief creative officer. Mukerji, the founder of the agency, has been its chief executive officer since its launch in 2009. Prior to that, he was president and creative director of UpsideDown Communications. He was also a senior vice-president at Grey Canada and president of Grey Direct.
Monsoon has promoted Sunith Lobo to the position of managing director. He joined the firm in 2025 as vice-president of media. In addition, Michel Frappier has joined the company as an advisor to the board. He is the CEO of MLLP Ventures. He has also been a principal at Balmoral Multicultural Marketing and chairman of the Advertising Review Board.
