Mazda begins CX-5 campaign

Automaker Mazda Canada has begun a new campaign in support of its CX-5 compact sport utility vehicle. Called “5 Sides of the Mazda CX‑5,” the campaign consists of five videos designed to resemble various film genres, each one highlighting an attribute of the vehicle. The videos, made in the style of action, musical, science fiction, romance and horror movies, feature the same character in the same vehicle. The campaign consists of broadcast, digital and social media advertising.
“Just like the all‑new Mazda CX‑5, our customers are dynamic and multifaceted, so exploring that through different genres was a fun and meaningful way to bring the story to life,” said Neal Bouwmeester, director of marketing at Mazda Canada. “These films are bold, cinematic and larger than life, yet at their core, each one reflects a different side of who our customers are.”
