CTV signs Amazing Race sponsors

CTV has signed a series of sponsorship agreements in support of the fourth season of its competition show The Amazing Race Canada. Chevrolet will return as a lead sponsor for a fourth year, providing vehicles for use in the race. The winners of the season will be able to choose any Chevrolet vehicle they used as part of their prize. BMO has also returned for a second year as a lead sponsor of the show. Additional sponsors for this season include Mentos, Hotels.com and MEC Canada. As part of the winners' prize package, Hotels.com will provide accommodations for a trip for two around the world. The company will also provide five-day trips to various locations to the winners of each stage of the race.

"We are tremendously pleased to have a dynamic set of sponsors that will help push the pace this season," said Laird White, director of brand partnerships at Bell Media, parent company of CTV. "Their presence will be integrated in-show and online in organic and original ways we haven't done before."
