L'Oreal Paris retains Cossette
Montreal-based cosmetics company L'Oréal Paris Canada has retained Cossette as its digital agency. The assignment includes strategic and technological support for web optimization, content development and consumer relationship management. Marketel McCann Erickson remains the brand agency of record for L'Oreal Paris Canada, while MEC Canada remains media agency of record.
"Cossette demonstrated its ability to carry out digital projects that are creatively, strategically and technologically sophisticated," said Stéphanie Binette, general manager of the company. "This combination of expertise convinced us that they were the ideal partner to help us extend our position as leader in the beauty in Canada."
According to the agency, Cossette's compensation will be based on results of its work, in what the firm calls "a new partnership model."
"The client-agency model needs to be updated to reflect today's reality," said Stéphane Bérubé, chief marketing officer at L'Oréal Canada. "With this partnership, we aim to build a synergistic relationship with Cossette, to share the risk, and conquer the unknown. Cossette demonstrated openness to tackle this challenge right at the beginning of the process."
