Sponsorship roundup

Montreal-based cosmetics company L'Oréal Paris has signed-on as the official beauty sponsor of the Toronto International Film Festival. The brand's official makeup and hair styists Eddie Malter and Eric Del Monaco will provide their services to visiting celebrities during the festival. The company will also sponsor the Festival Portrait Studio, which will provide hair and makeup touch-ups prior to press conferences and other events. L'Oréal Paris will also launch a special cosmetics collection tied to the festival, which will only be sold in August and September. The sponsorship also includes a contest component, the winner of which will take on the role of Official L'Oréal Paris Beauty Correspondent to interview celebrities. The interviews will then be posted on the brand's Facebook and YouTube pages. "As the largest publicly-attended film festival in the world, the festival is the style Mecca for red carpet glamour and L'Oréal Paris is delighted to now provide style-watchers with more behind-the-scenes access and star styling tips than ever before," said Hugo Thibault, brand communications director for L'Oréal Paris Canada. "We are particularly excited about our first ever TIFF limited-edition cosmetics collection and Beauty Correspondent scouting contest."
