Toronto Film School sponsors TIFF

The Toronto Film School has signed-on as a sponsor of the Toronto International Film Festival. The school will sponsor a number of industry events during the festival, including the Ontario Creates’ Celebrate Ontario Reception, the City of Toronto’s XOTO House, the Canadian Film Centre’s Homecoming event and the Canadian Film Fest’s Canada Party. As part of the agreement, a group of the school’s student will receive TIFF conference passes, allowing them to attend screenings and other events, and to meet industry professionals. The festival will run from Sept. 7 to 17.

“By being part of this globally celebrated event, students will gain invaluable firsthand knowledge about the industry, as well as unprecedented exposure to international cinema,” said Andrew Barnsley, president of the Toronto Film School. “They’ll also have the opportunity to engage in discussions with industry luminaries, which will undoubtedly be a transformative experience for those looking to establish their mark on the film landscape, offering a window into the latest trends, technologies and creative approaches driving the cinematic world today.”
