Citizen Relations launches The Colony Project
By Adnews Staff

Citizen Relations has launched a new public relations agency in Toronto called The Colony Project. According to the company, the firm will focus on clients seeking public relations services outside of their traditional activities, while Citizen will continue to provide services to large-scale clients. The Colony Project will service clients nationally in English and French, with a focus on international brands. The first clients of the agency are Hyundai Auto Canada and M&M Meat Shops. The firm will be headed by managing director Amanda Shuchat, most recently a vice-president and senior strategist at Citizen Relations.
"Our agency shares the same DNA as Citizen Relations and we are positioned perfectly to both support and leverage the integrated marketing teams within Cossette and its other sister brands," said Shuchat. "We combine the passion of an innovative boutique with the capabilities of a large-scale firm, but we have a varied focus designed to both differentiate and complement Citizen. We are focused on integrated solutions that help merge the lines between media, creative and PR, helping clients reach new audiences by challenging the status quo."
Citizen Relations is a subsidiary of Vision7 International, which also owns Cossette, Vision7 Media and The Camps Collective. Vision7 is a subsidiary of BlueFocus International.
