Subway begins Eat Fresh Refresh

Toronto-based sandwich chain Subway Canada has begun an initiative called the "Eat Fresh Refresh” as part of an overall rebranding effort. The initiative includes new menu items, Canadian-sourced ingredients, an updated mobile application and promotional agreements with snowboarder Mark McMorris and tennis player Leylah Fernandez. The athletes will participate in commercials and social media activities for the brand. The campaign was developed by Dentsu in collaboration with Mcgarrybowen, with media work by Carat and public relations by Veritas.

“Today is a major milestone in our ongoing commitment to deliver Canadians the quality ingredients, amazing taste and top-notch experience they expect from Subway,” said Doug Fry, country director for Subway Canada. “Canadians' expectations for variety, selection and quality continues to evolve, as they should. We know because we asked. The ‘Eat Fresh Refresh’ is more than just updates to our menu. It's about showing Canadians we listen and push ourselves to be better by elevating our products and guest experience.”
