GAYLORD HEADS WEST

The Gaylord Group of Toronto has opened a Vancouver office. Gaylord, the sales promotion arm of Toronto-based BBDO Canada, talked about opening a West Coast office last July when the event marketing company P.E.M. Group was merged into Gaylord. P.E.M. had offices in Toronto and Vancouver. Gaylord's new west coast operation is located in the Vancouver office of BBDO and is being operated by former P.E.M owner Bill Brooks, who takes the title western operations vice-president. Gaylord works with BBDO clients such as BC Tel, A&W Restaurants, Dairyworld and Yukon Tourism. It also works with its own clients such as Molson Breweries (West), BC Place Stadium, Shell Canada and Uniglobe International.
