Fuel Industries appoints chief operating officer

Kevin Astle has joined Ottawa-based Fuel Industries as executive vice-president and chief operating officer. In this newly-created position, he will focus on the agency’s international expansion. Astle was previously director for the Americas of The Marketing Store. He sold his first agency, The Gaylord Group, to BBDO in 1994. He then founded GeneratorIdeaworks before joining The Marketing Store in 1999. He has recently been working as a consultant.
