Nestle Canada breaks new Aero advertising

Nestlé Canada has released a new television commercial promoting its Aero chocolate bar to women. The ad, created by JWT Canada of Toronto, depicts two women at work. One offers the other a piece of her Aero bar. The recipient says that she would love a piece. A man walking by says that he would like a piece too. The woman says, “But would you love a piece?” The man replies that love is a strong word. The ad ends with a voiceover saying, “Have you felt the bubbles melt?” “We build on Aero’s well-established relationship with women in this new creative,” said Kate Beresford, Aero brand manager at Nestlé Canada. “Aero understands and can relate to the humorous nuances of things guys just don’t get about women.” The commercial broke on June 11. It will be followed with print ads in the fall.
