Edelman adds seven

Edelman of Toronto has recently added a number of new staff members. Lisa Bednarski has joined the agency as senior vice-president of planning. She has spent the last 10 years as executive vice-president of brand strategy and insights at Weber Shandwick. Prior to that, she was a vice-president at Cohn & Wolfe and an account manager at MacPhee Jesson.

Greg Bolton has joined the agency as creative director. He was most recently group creative director at Leo Burnett. He has also worked at Henderson Bas, Organic and Teehan & Lax.

Leilah Ambrose and Matt Smith have been hired as associate creative directors. Ambrose was most recently an associate creative director at Taxi. She was also a senior copywriter at Grip and Tribal DDB, as well as a writer and designer at Bruce Mau Design. Smith was also previously an associate creative director at Taxi. He has also worked at Teehan & Lax, Henderson Bas and Trapeze Media.

Camielle Clark has been appointed director of creative production. She has previously worked at Grey Canada, JWT Chicago, JWT Canada, Bryant, Fulton & Shee Vancouver and Saatchi & Saatchi. She was most recently a freelancer.

Hira Gomes, previously at Taxi, has been hired as an art director.

Scott Tavener has joined the agency on a full-time basis as a copywriter, following a year and a half as a contractor.
