Cisco Canada begins poster campaign in Toronto airport

Networking technology company Cisco Canada has begun an out-of-home campaign at Terminal One of Pearson International Airport in Toronto. The campaign consists of three backlit posters fitted with Bluetooth wireless systems that can deliver video downloads to the cell phones and mobile devices of passers-by. The campaign was developed in association with Clear Channel Outdoor Canada and BlueCasting Canada. According to these companies, this is the first campaign in Canada to use this wireless technique. The creative, produced by OgilvyOne, continues to use the “human networking” theme from previous Cisco campaigns. The three posters are located in the domestic departures and domestic luggage claim areas. ”This is a great way to deliver content to the marketer's target group,” said Bill Brooks, managing partner of BlueCasting Canada. “It allows them to take away the message which could include special offers, coupons or a valuable piece of information from the advertisers.”
